Rina Shimizu
Rina Shimizu is the main character of the Kumiai universe, she is a young girl, half Scandinavian and half Japanese, from a wealthy family. She is currently a student at Kumiai High School.
Rina is clumsy and naive, despite this, she tries to appear more mature and intelligent by taking as a model her mother who is a respected business woman.
She will not hesitate to take you down with her mocking smile but her real personality will soon bring her back to reality. Even more so when you know how “passionate” she can be in front of cookies. 🍪
Rina is a lively, smiling and fun-loving girl who is not afraid to put herself forward.
She is clumsy and naive, yet she tries to become more mature and responsible by taking her mother, a respected businesswoman, as a role model. However, she seems to misunderstand the idea of what a mature adult really is.
Because of this misinterpretation of the ideal adult, she often tries to play up her charms and patronize her classmates with a mocking smile to throw them off balance. But unfortunately for her, the role of femme fatale doesn’t suit her at all and it often ends up with little amused smiles from her “victims” classmates.

She tends to lose her temper when she is faced with an unexpected situation or response, she still lacks the experience to manage to keep her composure when faced with the unexpected. This is also the case when she is presented with delicious cookies under her nose, at that moment, it is no longer a question of keeping her cool, only her stomach speaks for her.
Rina is quite popular with the students in high school, she has the reputation of the funny senpai who clowns around but is always ready to help those in need no matter what their problems are.
People like her for what she is and what she gives off, her little game of double personality amuses a lot her entourage and her classmates and they often come to play her game to please her (even if it often happens that she breaks her role as a mature and calm young woman without wanting to).
Rina is not the most academically gifted but still manages to come out with just above average grades, she would like to be more involved but is always distracted by other things, whether it is going out for fun or her club activities.
She is surprisingly good at English, which is surprising the first time you hear her speak it. Her favorite class is cooking, although in real life she prefers to enjoy the good meal at the end of the class rather than prepare it. She still aspires to one day find the ultimate cookie recipe that she can reproduce on her own without difficulty.
