Sophie Lily White
Sophie Lily White is one of the main characters of the Kumiai universe, she is a close friend of Rina and Aya. She is half French and half British. She comes from a very wealthy family and is a student at Kumiai High School.
Sophie is a sweet and kind girl who tends to take everything at face value, which tends to create some rather unusual situations.
She has a particularity of seeing magical spirits that can interfere with the real world. She is followed by a fairy called Lynn, a rabbit called Finn Avery and a gecko called Vaterschweigen.
Sophie is considered “the sweetest and nicest person in the world” according to Rina and Aya. She is a very polite and innocent girl who tends to take everything at face value, which tends to create rather unusual situations
She has a hard time following certain discussions that are too “adult” for her and often shows her incomprehension in these moments.
The fact that she can see spirits does not help her in her daily life, as she does not really pay attention to the looks of others, she is often seen talking in a vacuum or making strange gestures.
Because of her gullibility, it took her a long time to realize that she was the only person in the world who could see and talk to spirits. Even knowing this, she still has no reflex to restrict her interactions with them.

Only Rina, Aya and her parents take her word for it when she talks about her secret, and she is very happy to have people to confide in.
Sometimes Sophie can fall asleep quickly in different places without her family knowing how or why. In fact, Sophie becomes narcoleptic under certain specific conditions related to the “magic” that a place or an entity gives off.
This is one of the reasons why Schwe (The nickname of Vaterschweigen given by Sophie), Finn and Lynn follow her around all the time, to protect her from the dangers she may face when she is asleep.
On-campus:
Sophie is a kind of mascot on Kumiai’s campus and is very popular with her classmates and teachers. Despite being a “sweet and fragile princess who needs to be protected at all costs”, she doesn’t like the idea of people overprotecting and spoiling her, especially when it comes to her younger classmates or even children. She tries to be hard on them to make them understand that she is stronger than she seems, but without success…
Even if she is not a true member, she is a regular member of the tea ceremony club, she sometimes participates in the club activities.
In studies:
Sophie has very good grades at school, she has received a very strict education since her childhood regarding studies. Today, she does not regret her parents’ choice at all because she was able to join Kumiai and meet Aya and Rina.
She likes to read a lot, she sometimes goes to the big library of the campus when she has free time to devour novels of all kinds.
In addition to Japanese, which she continues to practice every day, Sophie speaks several European languages such as English, French, German, and has some knowledge of Spanish and Italian as well. She learned all these languages during her various trips in Europe with her parents during her childhood.
Sophie is not very athletic, she envies Aya and would like to be able to play as she does at her club or during the sports class. Her physical condition is weaker than the average due to certain setbacks linked to her gift.
